…As NPP Defeated Candidate Petitions Court Over Parliamentary Results- needs editing

Aftermath the spate of insults, provocation and attacks on members of the ruling National democratic Congress (NDC) by the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters at Ablekuma Central Constituency in the Greater Accra Region a one-touch victory by President John Dramani Mahama and a slight win by the Member of Parliament elect for Ablekuma Central Hon. Theophilus Tetteh Chaie, massive joy was seen from the NDC supporters whose jubilation transcended the entire Ablekuma metropolis during the inauguration ceremony.
Information reaching the Ghana Palaver indicate that following the announcement of the election results at the collation centre at the Odorkor Police Station on Saturday evening by the electoral commission (EC), in the just ended general elections, the defeated Parliamentary candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr. Ebenezer Narh after seen uncontrollably weeping and wailing for his loss to the NDC Parliamentary Candidate Hon. Theophilus Tetteh Chaire due to the huge sums of money he spent.
According to the source, Mr. Ebenezer Narh decided to concede defeat but Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agypong and others are putting pressure on him not to accept the results at the collation centre announced by the electoral commission, and that he should take it to court, because if he failed to do so they would never support him in any election.
Meanwhile, the source also disclosed that despite the support Mr. Narh had from the NPP and Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agypong and others, he went ahead to acquire loans from different Banks, believing that he would win the election and pay back.
The source further disclosed that Mr. Ebenezer Narh begun to spend a lot of money to win the votes of some youth by distributing items when he learnt that some youth groups were defecting from the NDC and were planning to vote skirt and blouse. Thinking that the door of Parliament will always be open for him, he went on a spending spree and started sharing motor bikes, money and other items to them.
Another source very close to him revealed to this paper that Mr. Narh vowed that he would spend every thing he had to win the seat, adding that the people of Ablekuma Central were fed up with Hon. Theophilus Tetteh Chaie.
Ghana Palaver in an interview with some people in the constituency said the candidate is the one to be blamed for his defeat which according to them was due to his behavior towards the people in the constituency more especially at Abossey Okai where he was born.
“We should have voted for him because we are living with him in the same area where he was born but due to his arrogant and disrespectful attitude we voted against him, there was a time he even beat up his own father, my brother let me tell something Ebenezer Narh is under curse. I remember when we went to his residence at Mataheko, we saw him and the girl we met also told us he was around but later the same girl came back to tell us he is not in. So we can safely assume that if he becomes the Member of Parliament (MP).
He always concentrate on some selected few groups of people and these groups were those how led to his defeat due to their known violent acts in the constituency for which the majority of people in the constituency has vowed not to vote for any party those groups would support” they noted.
