The General Overseer of Freedom Chapel International, Apostle Francis Amoako-Atta has urged political parties to unite as one people to ensure peace, development and progress in the country.

In an exclusive interview with The Al-Hajj in Accra, Apostle Francis Amoako-Atta said nothing happens without God intervention and Ghanaians must thank God for what he has done for the country.

He said before the elections in December 7, 2012, Ghanaians prayed to God for a good leader to occupy the highest office of the land and it has come to pass as the elections were peaceful and a President has been elected.

He has therefore called on all the political parties to have the interest of the nation at heart and protect the peace Ghanaians are enjoying rather than their own interest which would not help the development of the country.

According to Apostle Francis Amoako-Atta all the political parties have the same vision in terms of development, education, economic transformation among many other policies that would move the country forward as well as meeting the basic needs of the people.

He urged the President to be careful of the people he would appoint to work with, adding that the President has a temperament of a good leader but his subordinate can made him the worst government.

He appealed to all those who may have the opportunity to serve this country to do his or her best for the interest of the country to ensure development.

He added that God has given the country a leader who he knows better than we Ghanaians know him therefore Ghanaians should appreciate the will of God for God knows better than us.

“Visions are born out of God will and Ambitions are also born out of man will, Ghana has one destiny therefore Ghanaians should project that destiny and should allow the will of God to prevail” he noted.

According to him the wish of man is not the wish of God  that is why many people die before their time adding that all Ghanaians must believed that the God who created  heaven and earth is the same God who installed a leader and has choosing President  John Dramani Mahama to rule this country.

Apostle Francis Amoako-Atta then appealed to the leadership of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to stop organizing their party supporters to embark on demonstration at which some of their party supporters took the law into their own hands and vandalized people’s properties.

He added that the holding of press conferences by the NPP while the matter has been taken to court, are not necessary as it will not promote the peace Ghana is enjoying.

He further called on security agencies to be on the alert and should not hesitate to arrest any person who may want to destabilize the peace before, during and after the court gives its final ruling.
